Steam Boilers - Liquid & Gas Fired Systems
Three pass cylindrical back furnaced type

Materials used to manufacture steam boilers with back-furnace;
Shell, back-furnace and furnace: Boiler shell sheet in norm of DIN 17155 (Furnace can be produced straight, partial corrugated, full corrugated according to the pressure)

Fire tubes: Quality of St35. 8 in norm of DIN 2448 stain seamless boiler pipe.

Insulation: insulted with rock wool with density of 80kg/m2 and 10 cm thickness than covered with galvanized or aluminum sheet.

Manufacturing and test periods of the boiler is under observation of the company Bureau Veritas and a Class Document (Project, Material, Welding and Welder approval, x-ray and normalization furnace control) which is the base of the CE document and hydrostatic test document are taken. (Every finished boiler in our factory is hydrostatically tested under a 1.5 times bigger pressure then the operational pressure.)

Cylindrical three pass back furnaced steam boilers fired with liquid and/or gas fuel manufactured in our factory have these advantages,

Advantages Of The Steam Boilers With Back Furnace


With the experience of 30 years and projects we completed, we see that the boilers with back furnace are more efficient then the classic type cylindrical boilers. Advantages of the boilers with the back furnace stated in our offers are listed below.

- There is rear reversing chamber at the end of the furnace at the steam boilers. Secondary pass tubes (short tubes) are welded to the front side of the rear reversing chamber. Steam boilers with back furnace don't have rear reversing chamber so both smoke pipes are welded to front tube sheet and back tube sheet. For this reason the boiler is more stable and gas route is longer.

- Back furnaced boilers have the same length of the second pass tubes and the third pass tubes. Funnel gas way is longer for this reason

- Because of the longer funnel gas way, back furnaced boilers have better heat conduction and lower funnel gas outlet in comprehension with the classical boilers. Therefore the efficiency of the boiler is higher. (Measurements show that the difference of the steam temperature and the funnel gas temperature is higher at classical type boilers)

- Back-furnace is doing the job of rear reversing chamber, so the intermittent blow-down of the boiler is healthier.

- With the help of back furnace, the length of furnace increased and there is no more limitation for the flame length. Fort his reason boilers with back furnace also have advantages for burner manufacturers.

- At classical type cylindrical boilers, furnace is generally on the middle axis. At the boilers with back furnace, the burner maintenance and assembly of the gas way armatures are easier because furnace is placed off axis.

- Explosion cover is not affected from flame touch and doesn't get deformed because the furnace is placed off axis.
